April fools on Facebook

I didn’t notice any good April Fools Day jokes this year. Must have been because I slept in on Sunday, and did nothing at all, oh expect watching 300. But according to Wikipedia, Facebook played a number of pranks on its users during the course of April Fools Day. “Making light of the site’s ‘poke’ function, Facebook offered to dispatch a live person to poke any friend that the reader chooses.” So, did anyone get poked by a real person on Sunday? Be careful hoe you answer that thou!

Oh, and while I,m on the topic of Facebook, here are the latest stats for Feb 2007:

• Users: 18,000,000
• Page Views: 30,000,000,000 per month
• Searches: 600,000,000 per month
• Photos Hosted: > 1,000,000,000
• RAM in memcache servers: 2 TB

Looks very similar to Groogle’s stats…
