Time to Grad, finally..


badela_small.jpgIt’s our graduation weekend coming up. No idea why Rhodes University waits 5 months after we have left Grahamstown to honour us with our degree but this trip is more than just to receive our academic certificate. This weekend is about re-living the Rhodes experience one more time, seeing all varsity friends in one place, and celebrating not only the past four years, but all those yet to come. During grad there will be plenty official ceremonies, garden parties, pre-drinks, pub crawls, and drunken walks home.

The excitement has been noticeable everywhere, on various Facebook walls, IM chats, etc, people are counting down how many sleeps are left and some are bringing their Vitamin B tablets in their luggage to ease the after party headaches…
