Does what happens in the Facebook stay in the Facebook?

This video comes from www.albumoftheday.com/facebook/ and presents an interesting Facebook reality…

The amount of information which we give away on Facebook is quite striking:

Music
Books
Movies
Address
Hometowns
Phone Numbers
E-Mail
Clubs
Jobs
Educational History
Birth Dates
Sexual Orientation
Interests
Daily Schedules
Relation to friends
Pictures
Political Affiliations

And it won’t really make a difference deleting your Facebook account after you have watched this…THEY know everything about YOU ALREADY!

Don’t you feel like things are coming full circle here? What with myspace and all?

Is this not where myspace was a year ago (maybe more)? Is this not why Rupert Murdoch bought Myspace? For all those details, it is frighteningly scary yet somewhat liberating for me!! (as dumb as I know that is)

Hehe, but not very liberating when your information could be held against you the next time you’re stopped at the US border because your favourtie movie you presented on Facebook was “Demolition Man” , your favourite book “Escape from Taliban” and your religious interests as Muslim…

Why oh Why do people post that important info! i mean a friend of mine lost his cell phone and started a group (WHICH WAS NOT PRIVATE) called i lost my phone please give me your numbers. And too my horror people were posting their cell numbers obviously with their names and networks too. Am i paranoid or is that crazy. It also shocks the hell out of me when people list their exact home addresses to the number in their contact section!!

Man-Bear-Pig is real! im doubting this a little after actually reading their privacy policy. They seem to be determined to keep our info private. Unless i was reading the wrong section this is all just gross speculation. And iv decided that the womans voice is strikingly painfull. Paul: I cant either… all drugs get us eventually ;-) Maybe we should all play it safe anyway and start a global movement to digspot hey Nic?
